My Dog Willow

I got my dog Willow about 5 years ago. She is a English Bulldog that used to have a lot of energy when she was a puppy. We used to call her Chompy because she would just go around biting us for absolutely no reason. Of course it didn’t hurt because her teeth were not very sharp but still. She was like a little piranha, running from couch to couch looking for her next victim. Eventually she grew out of it, but I’ll never forget her dangerous puppy stage. Now it is rare to see Willow have any energy at all. Normally you can just find her on the couch laying there and breathing heavy. Even if you are sitting in her seat she manages to get up and lay right next to you, and don’t worry she always makes herself comfortable. The only time I see her move is when she is trying to defend herself against my other dog Rogue. Rogue is a lot taller than Willow so it makes it easy for Rogue to bully Willow. This normally involves her biting Willow, and chasing her. Willow’s favorite thing to do is probably sleep, but she also likes to go swimming in our pool. Although she will not go in by herself so that means we have to carry her in the pool, which is not easy because Willow weighs a ton. Once she is in the pool she likes to doggy paddle, and even could swim on her own if we let her go. Although she doesn't like getting her ears wet. Which is probably because she is prone to infections in her ears. When she isn’t sleeping you can often find her staring at you, begging for some sort of food. The only person who gives in to her is my brother because he doesn’t like pizza crust anyway. Every time I try to walk in the living room Willow always seems to be in my way. I have almost fallen on my face so many times. When you call Willow she pretends she doesn’t hear you, and can be very stubborn about almost everything. It is almost impossible to drag her anywhere she doesn’t want to go. I wouldn’t call her super cute, but she is so ugly that she is cute, especially because of her under bite. She loves when people visit because she gets a lot of attention. Even if I say that I don’t like her she has grown on me over the years.
